Sher Gillespie
Sher Gillespie, a native of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, has traveled the east coast extensively, showing and training for the last 25 years with a home base in Concord, North Carolina, as well as Bloomsburg and Ocala, FL. Trained from a young age to adapt to many different horses, Sher developed an unsurpassable feel for riding that led her to be the youngest recipient of the USDF 'All Breeds Award' and to qualify for the AHSA National Equitation Finals. Her relentless passion for learning has provided her with numerous opportunities to work with the best in the show jumping world! Sher credits much of her knowledge of correct horsemanship to Paula and the late William Hosking, as well as her direct jumper expertise to the late Barry Lane and Olympian Laura Kraut. She has successfully trained numerous children and adults to achieve championships and national and local wins, showcasing her talent in matching horse and riders. In 2002, Sher formed SGA, where she offers professional rider education through personalized training programs for both horse and rider. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, her riding lessons can help you achieve your riding goals.
